A hope-filled Crafternoon

Last month, Vicky and a team from the Kings Church in Nottingham held their Winter Crafternoon. 50 women craft2cosied up with homemade soup and artisan bread donated from local bakery The Bakehouse, followed by a wide range of delicious cakes. There were a choice of 3 crafts, suitable for novices or experts, and the room was buzzing as people chatted with old and new friends. The ‘Hope’ theme was reflected in pots filled with daffodils and crocuses, beautiful decorations and a poem read by Vicky.

With tickets selling out, and oodles of positive feedback, Crafternoons have proven to be a really popular way to bring friends along to a church event, and to take time getting to know each other in a warm, welcoming space. Why not consider holding a Crafternoon where you live?
